Many of you must have tried the Korean grilled pork belly barbecue. However, did you ever try Wang Sot-ttukkong Samgyeopsal (왕솥뚜껑삼겹살)? Wang in this case means BIG and Ttukong means lid. On the other hand, Sot (pig iron) is the material which used to make the lid.
As we all knew, Samgyeopsal is very oily when we grill the pork belly. By using pig iron, it can absorb the oil from the pork so that the pork will be more delicious while eating. In addition, it also comes with various vegetables such as bean sprout, kimchi, leek, mushroom and spring onion.
Saida and beer are the must for Koreans when they eat Samgyeopsal. You should not miss these too when you having Samgyeopsal in Korea!
