Unhyeongung Palace (Bukchon)
The hall of family culture - Unhyeongung Palace, located at Bukchon, was the home for young Gojong (emperor during the Joseon Dynasty). There are 6 main places for you to visit when you enter the palace, which are Sujiksa, Exhibition Hall of Remains, Exhibition Hall, Noandang, Norakdang and Irodang.
First of all, you will see the guard's quarter - Sujiksa which located at beside the main entrance to the palace. Back to the olden days, Regent Heungseon (father of Gojong) discussed the politics in this place,
Next, the Exhibition Hall helps the visitors to understand the status of the palace towards the end of Joseon period by displaying a miniature model of the palace, a garment for a royal wedding by Emperor Gojong and his wife and household utensils used at Unhyeongung Palace.
Noandang was built in 1864. The 'T' shaped building has an ondol (Korean heating system) room, wooden room, wooden floors and a balcony (Yeonghawru). Noandang is the sarangchae (man's quarter) of Unhyeongung Palace, which is the main residence of Regent Heungseon. In fact, Noan means paying respect to the elderly and helping them feel comfortable.
On the other hand,Norakdang is the central place of the Unhyeongung Palce. The '---' shaped building has an ondol, a wide wooden floor, and 2 wood-floored storage spaces like inner quarters of the Royal Palace. This building was the place where Emperor Gojong and his wife, Empress Myeongseong held their wedding ceremony in 1866.
Last but not least, Irodang was built in 1869, used as the inner quarters of Unhyeongung Palace. Iro (literally means 'two elders') is thought to refer to Regent Heungseon and his wife. The square shaped Irodang consists of ondol room and wide wooden floors.

Korean Style Shabu-shabu
Shabu-shabu is originally from Japan, featuring thinly sliced beef boiled in water. However, the Koreans change it's style by serving it with their favorite side dishes. At the end of your meal, they will use the soup to cook porridge as well.
